A native of Phoenix, Arizona, Levi began birding at age 10 after receiving a bird book from his grandparents and was immediately hooked. He has birded extensively across the state, from the Sky Islands of the southeast to the White Mountains and the Grand Canyon. Levi enjoys focusing on bird photography and producing high-quality documentation of rare species, and his work has earned multiple awards. He is also fascinated by species distribution in mountainous regions and the timing and behavior of late-arriving breeders. Levi relishes sharing Arizona’s birdlife with others and strives to create the best possible experiences for every birder he works with.
Levi is an eBird reviewer for Maricopa County and has participated in numerous Christmas Bird Counts, bird surveys, and photography workshops.
