Brady grew up in McKinney, Texas, where he developed a love for the natural world at a young age. Birds quickly captured his attention with their remarkable migratory journeys. During the pandemic, Brady began birding extensively across North Texas, and in 2021, he set a new Big Year record for Collin County.
Now a graduate student at Texas A&M University, Brady has gained extensive professional experience working with birds. He has conducted surveys across Wyoming, Nebraska, and the Dakotas, and has contributed to bird-banding research in California, southeastern Arizona, and throughout eastern and coastal Texas. Brady enjoys traveling across Texas in search of birds and has become intimately familiar with the unique avifauna of each region.
Most of all, Brady loves sharing his passion for birds with others. From guiding and leading Christmas Bird Counts to getting students involved in research, he hopes to inspire people not only by showing them birds but also by sharing the natural history that makes them so remarkable.
